Tea Boss Kissa is inside the Khon 2 building and is located at the corner of Piikoi and Waimanu Street. Two great things about this place is 1) the cafe serves food and 2) the boba is $1.50 when you order a boba combo, meaning you order food and boba together.

Environment

When I first entered the place, I really liked the spaciousness and ample seating. The decor and color scheme of the space felt very inviting and cozy, which makes it a great place to read, study and lounge. Just wished the music was a bit louder so I can hear the music better while enjoying my food. Plus, it’s clean too. There’s many boba places I’ve visited and they were not too clean, but Tea Bossa Kissa is an exception.

Food/Price

Let me say that Tea Boss Kissa has such a great variety of food to choose from: salads, pastas, sandwiches, poke, burritos and burgers. They also serve breakfast and brunch. The food prices are in the middle range between $7.50-$14.00.

I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised that I had a choice of two sides with my sandwich. I chose the greens and potato salad. The greens were yummy, but I didn’t like the potato salad too much. Maybe I should have picked the pasta salad instead :p. It had too much mayo and the potato cuts were a little big. The sandwich was a bit buttery for me, but overall, I enjoyed my sandwich.

Parking

Parking entrance is located on Piikoi with limited stalls. I say your best bet is to park at Ala Moana Shopping Center and walk over, which is what I did.

Bathroom

Yes, there are bathrooms!!! You go through the double doors at the back of the cafe and the bathrooms will be on the right down the hallway.

I didn’t get to try the boba during my visit and will update my review about my thoughts on their drinks. I’ll definitely will be ordering the boba combo. Until next time!
