Honey Boba is located next to Safeway in Kapahulu. Honey Boba looks big from the outside, but the inside is small. Even though the space is tiny, I really like the interior of Honey Boba— striped colored walls and yellow seats. It’s a very trendy and cute hangout spot. But I wouldn’t recommend it as a good place to study. The space is tiny that people coming in and out of the shop might distract you.

Taste/Price

We ordered a Jasmine Green Tea with boba and a Royal Milk Tea with boba. The boba comes in one size and the toppings cost an extra $0.49. The drink was average. The tea was brewed too strong, and the drink was very sweet. The taste was just overpowering and too sugary. The boba was also stiff. I wish I had a more positive experience. I thought the cost of drink was a bit overpriced for the quality and taste of the drink. I’ve had better boba that didn’t cost as much. I had high expectations since I tried the Honey Boba in LA and actually liked it.

I would suggest adding a sweetness level to the drink and having the option to choose the size of the drinks as well. Also, the dome shaped covers made it hard to maneuver the straw in order to reach for the boba.

Parking

There is plenty of parking since Honey Boba is located in a shopping center. So there is no need to worry about where to park.

Overall, cute place with average boba, but I would go elsewhere for better quality boba tea. If they made a few tweaks with how they made their drinks, they can definitely improve.
