Complete Cookie Review: Lenny and Larry’s Baked Cookies
This blog post will focus on the Complete Cookie Review for the Lenny and Larry’s Baked Cookies. My favorite cookie is the Chocolate Chip Cookie. The other flavors offered by Lenny and Larry’s Baked Cookies include Chocolate Macademia, Double Chocolate Chip, Coconut Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Lemon Poppy Seed, Pumpkin Spice and Oatmeal Raisin. Just a warning! The Birthday Cake flavor does not taste as good as the other flavors.
For one, I love the fact that it is dairy free. Because it is dairy free, you will not experience as much flatulence eating this cookie versus eating other protein cookies that contains whey based protein. In other words, you won’t be so gassy. You know how whey protein can make your farts stink! Lenny and Larry’s Cookies contains plant-based protein. Compared to other protein cookies, the taste is awesome considering it contains no dairy and eggs.
With this cookie, you don’t have to sacrifice taste for your carbohydrate and protein intake. The texture is soft and chewy. Every time you bite into one of Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cookie, you fulfill those sweet tooth cravings. I honestly think the cookie isn’t that sweet and I’m one to complain when something is sweet.
Their cookies make a great post-workout snack or a snack for anytime of day. The 4 oz cookie contains 2 servings. What I do is split the cookie in half and save the other half for later so I can eat in the afternoon. Or you can eat the other half for the next day. This cookie is really filling and gives me just enough energy to last me until lunch. Then after lunch, I eat the second half of the cookie. The cookie does taste great, but is it a bit dry, so make sure to drink plenty of fluids with it. The 4 oz cookie is pretty heavy so this could even serve as a meal replacement.
