Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe
Put a little flair in your banana bread with a dazzle of chocolate chips! Chocolate chip banana bread!!! Who can’t say no do this? This recipe calls for 2/3 cups of chocolate chips. Depending on your sweetness level, feel free to add more or less. For the maple syrup in the recipe, this ingredient is optional or you can substitute it for vanilla extract. This recipe is also great as just plain ‘ole banana bread! So ENJOY!
Ingredients
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp maple syrup or vanilla extract optional
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 3 bananas
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, mash three bananas.

Add in melted butter, syrup, salt, sugar, eggs, baking soda and flour. Mix well until mixture has a smooth consistency with no clumps.

When mixture is thoroughly mixed, add in the chocolate chips.

Pour mixture into a loaf pan or dish.

Pre-heat oven to 350 °F Degrees and bake for 60 to 80 minutes.

Remove from oven and let the bread sit. When it has cooled, enjoy your tasty baked chocolate chip banana bread!
